RECIPE TODAY: VENEZUELAN CHICKEN WITH MUSHROOM AND BEER

Hi steetmians friends, today I come with more recipes from my beautiful country VENEZUELA, I hope you enjoy.


The chicken recipes are always welcome, this white meat has so much consumption that you always need to have an additional recipe on hand to make your chicken presentation creatively.

Particularly I like to prepare many recipes with chicken, I find it easy, its meat lends itself to many combinations and is also easy to digest and nutritionally has less fat than red meat.

On this occasion I present a recipe of chicken with mushrooms and beer that is delicious, for some years now here in Venezuela we have very good mushroom crops, usually get fresh and bring that particular flavor that comes from the land donate grow, on the other Part honoring our quality of beer, I include it in our recipes whenever I can because it brings a light and delicate flavor to the dishes based on red or white meats.

Ingredients

1 chicken of 1.5 kg more or less (in quarters)

500 grs. Of mushrooms

1 large onion

1 beer

3 garlic clove

1 thyme corsage

Pepper in grain

3 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

Wash the chicken and remove salty skin to taste and set aside.

Heat the oil a pot and brown the chicken on all sides; Add the onion cut into julienne, whole garlic, clean and whole mushroom or cut into quarters if large, salt and pepper, thyme and beer. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes, once ready rectify the salt and serve hot, accompanied with chips or salad.
