El Gallinero du chocolat Another Great Breakfast And Lunch Restaurant Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
This is another one of my favourite places to go for breakfast. I have come to know the owner quite well and his upbringing in France has given him a unique edge on other competition as his pastries, homemade jams and fresh coffee are exceptional. Clement is a super nice guy and always takes time out to have a chat and make sure you are being looked after. I usually have the El Gallinero breakfast, which includes American coffee/expresso, omelette, with small side, toast and fresh juice for 100 pesos. They also have excellent sandwiches, pastries are to die for and I truly love the fresh coffee. They also sell fresh homemade jams and amazing ice cream. A beautiful little spot with lots to watch and see and centrally located. El Gallinero restaurant is located at 20th Ave and 10th St, next to Municipal Building and 1 block from Walmart.

We've also been to Playa del Carmen not long ago but unfortunately we didn't see this place!

Oh this looks so great! I’ll definitely go there when I’m in Playa del Carmen soon after our trip through USA. We are still looking for a nice family friendly apartment to stay. Do you have any suggestions by chance??
