Lemang Durian

Lemang is a typical Malay cuisine is also very popular among the people of Malay, lemang is very good especially when the holy month of Ramadan comes and Hari Raya Umat Islam.
what if the lemang combined with the imagined Durian does not taste good.

on this occasion I want to share the experience of cooking lemang and Durian sauce.
as for the materials needed in making Lemang Ialah:
Ingredients
1 liter of sticky rice (800 gr glutinous rice)
1 liter of coconut milk
2 pieces of pandan leaves
1 teaspoon vanilla essence (powderable)
2 tbsp salt (I 2 tsp)
sufficient leaves (use young banana leaves if any)
Large lontong mold (I do not have so straight roll up leaves)

Creation Steps:

  1. Wash glutinous rice, prepare coconut milk, pandan leaves slightly kneaded, tied.

  2. Input coconut milk, salt, vanilla essence, and pandan leaves to glutinous rice, let stand 1 hour. Then boiled / diaron while stirring not to burn the sticky position of the bottom of the pan. Aron until coconut milk absorbed. Turn off the heat let stand cool.
  3. After cool, wrap with banana leaf, vertical leaf fiber position ... Take aronan glutinous rice .. bet on banana leaves ... Solid .... Gulung .... To not loose the roll, tie with fiber leaf rolls lemangnya ... (original version of recipe, wear large lontong print, I do not have)

  4. Steam for 40 minutes, Remove, Chill and Ready served, cut into chunks according to taste.

and then we will cook Durian Kuah.

  1. durian insert into the container then fill with coconut milk (Sesuai Selera)
  2. then stir durian with in add 3 tablespoons sugar and salt to taste
  3. Heat up to 15 Minutes and mix well.
  4. Durian Sauce ready at Serve.

Lemang adalah masakan khas melayu juga sangat populer di kalangan masyaarakat melayu, lemang memang sangat di gemari apalagi saat bulan suci Ramadhan tiba dan Hari Raya Umat islam.
bagaimana jika lemang dipadukan dengan Durian terbayang gak sih nikmatnya.

pada kesempatan kali ini saya ingin berbagi pengalaman memasak lemang dan kuah Durian.
adapun bahan yang di butuhkan dalam pembuatan Lemang Ialah :

Bahan-bahan
1 liter ketan (800 gr ketan)
1 liter santan
2 lembar daun pandan
1 sdt essence vanili (dapat diganti bubuk)
2 sdm garam (saya 2 sdt)
secukupnya daun (pakai daun pisang muda kalau ada)
Cetakan lontong besar (saya gak punya jadi langsung gulung daun)

Langkah Pembuatan :

  1. Cuci beras ketan, siapkan santan, daun pandan agak diremas, ikat.

  2. Masukan santan, garam, essence vanili, dan daun pandan ke beras ketan, diamkan 1 jam. Kemudian rebus/diaron sambil diaduk jangan sampai hangus posisi ketan yang didasar panci. Aron sampai santan meresap. Matikan api diamkan hingga dingin.
  3. Setelah dingin, bungkus dengan daun pisang, posisi serat daun vertikal... Ambil aronan beras ketan..taruh diatas daun pisang... Padatkan.... Gulung.... Agar tidak lepas gulungannya, ikat dengan serat daun gulungan lemangnya...(Versi asli resep, pakai cetakan lontong besar, saya gak punya)

  4. Kukus selama 40 menit, Angkat, dinginkan dan Siap disajikan, potong-potong sesuai selera.

dan selanjutnya kita akan memasak Kuah durian.

  1. durian di masukkan kedalam wadah lalu isikan dengan santan (Sesuai Selera)
  2. kemudian aduk durian dengan di tambahkan 3 sdm gula pasir dan garam secukupnya
  3. Panaskan hingga 15 Menit dan Aduk Hingga rata.
  4. Kuah durian siap di Sajikan.
