Ulog #234: Catering for a Company downtown
Last month we had our first catering event of the year and thank God for an event that helped us in what was a very slow month after new year and right before Chinese New Year. In Malaysia, these are periods that could be very high volume catering month or very low. For us this year it was very low but this event that we got, we really appreciate it and it was a pleasure serving all the friendly faces.
This is the guy that came to our usual spot in Taman Melawati to test out the burgers before the company actually got us to cater for them. He gave us the thumbs up then and secured us this event.
It was a pretty complex menu with lotsa varieties of side dishes that people could pick from.
We did our Signature Cheeseburger, Cajun Chicken burger, Smokey Mutton burger, and a grilled cheese chicken panini sandwich with a choice of sides from cheesey nachos, onion rings, smokey cocktail sausages, and our famous chicken wings.
Was a hectic service with just me and my brother doing everything from preps to cooking and serving on the day itself. We really enjoyed our time cooking and serving up the people and hope that we get more gigs like this this year.
