Oats are Trending in Daily Diets to Boost Health
Hey folks @cryptokraze here with my new Blog about Food and Health awareness in which I will highlight the health benefits associated with Oats. We should add variety of foods in our diet because they have bio-active components in them that help in preventing many diseases and provide other health benefits.
Health Benefits of Eating Oats
Oats are amongst the fittest grains on earth. The fitness benefits related to this nutritious grain are as under:
Oats Are Incredibly Nutritious
The nutrients of oats are balanced. They are a good source of fibers and carbohydrates, including strong beta-glucan fibers. They also contain more fat and protein than most cereals. Oats contain important minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants.
Antioxidants Power Bank
Whole oats are ironic in treating free radicals and valued plant complexes named polyphenols. The most projecting is a sole set of antioxidants, recognized as oat amides, originate almost solely in oats. Oatmeal can assist in lowering blood pressure by enhancing nitric oxide production. These gas particles help to expand blood vessels that lead to better blood movement. In addition, oat bran has anti-itching and anti-inflammatory properties. Ferric acid another antioxidant present in oats, is also abundant in it.
Lowers Cholesterol Level
Oats have a large quantity of beta-glucan, a soluble fiber. Beta-glucan is partly solvable in water and makes a gel-like dense solution in the intestine. The health aids of beta-glucan fiber include:
• It makes us feel full. No need to take extra food
• Lowers the low density lipoprotein level or bad cholesterol level and total cholesterol level from the body
• This fiber helps in the growth of bacteria’s present in digestive system
• Beta-glucan helps the body in maintaining blood glucose level with optimum insulin response in the body
Blood Sugar Control
Type 2 diabetes is a communal disease categorized by a marked rise in blood glucose levels. It is usually due to reduced sensitivity to the hormone insulin. Oat can help in lower blood sugar levels, particularly in type 2 diabetics and overweight, and they can also increase insulin sensitivity. This effect is mainly related to the ability of β-glucans to form thick gels, delaying gastric emptying and glucose uptake into the blood.
Indeed oats are truly beneficial to our health,especially in the case of deadly diseases
Wonderful post, I myself eat oatmeal almost everyday usually with blueberries and bananas. I knew that oatmeal is healthy but this post really explained it well :)

Have been here since long time but never tried oats in my breakfast. I am addicted to milkshakes for my breakfast, it is pretty hard to shift.

Brown rice is also a good substitute for oats.
Why would you need to sibstitute oats with rice. You can take both of them and get benefots from both.
Absolutely, Oats are a powerbank of essential nutrients and delicious too, I have tried few good recipes with oats and curd.. will surely share. Following you to stay tuned..:-)
I have seen oats being added to processed foods as functional ingrediet now. Just saw a commercial where chocolate biscuits got oats added in them
