in #food7 years ago

Did you know that the German name for Jell-O is Götterspeise? It means "food of the gods" and usually comes in green (Waldmeister "master of the woods" = woodruff), red (raspberry), dark red (cherry), and yellow (lemon). Now I'll enjoy my masterofthewoodsfoodofthegodsdessert

Gelatin deserts are also called 'Food of the Gods' in English, or as we call it 'Ambrosia'.

Gosh really?! Do you know what Jello is made of? Fish!

Gelatinous Green is PEOPLE.

"Waldmeister "master of the woods"

Technically speaking English does that stupid thing where we just put two words together too, so you can just say 'Woodsmaster'.
