The Moroccan flatbread maloui:
Hello again my dearest friends of steemit! Today I come with the famous Moroccan flatbread we call it in Morocco 🇲🇦 al maloui , it’s very yummy we serve them with melted butter and honey and hot mint Moroccan tea.
So to prepare this traditional flatbread you need:
- 2 cup of semolina
- 4cup of flour
- salt
- oil
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- water to collect the dough
- melted butter
preparing of the dough: - mix the semolina with the flour, salt, baking powder, little oil, collect them with water until you get a soft a dough, then put it in plastic to set for 30 minutes.
- form the dough into balls.
- spread the balls with little oil and melted butter and put the semolina inside , and start fold it us you see in the picture:
- spread it with your hand well, then start cook them in medium heat.
Voila the Moroccan maloui is ready to have it hot with melted butter and honey!!!!
