Christmas cookies -- microbake style!
Hi Steemit bakers & food lovers,
In this post I wanted to show you the easiest way to make Christmas cookies (no fuss & no mess) using your microwave!!!
Christmas Sugar Cookie, Christmas Gingerbread Cookie & Christmas Chocolate Cookie.
Our first recipe is a Christmas Sugar Cookie in a coffee cup.
In a microwavable cup, add melted butter, white sugar and an egg yolk and mix these all together. When mixed, add the dry ingredients (flour, pinch of salt and some festive sprinkles) and then mix all these ingredients together. These cookies take no time at all -- put each cup separately in the microwave for about 45 seconds to a minute. The timing is based on 1200 watts. (I suggest you check the wattage of your microwave as it may vary). When cookie is done, it's time to decorate it with a little butter cream frosting on top and of course some more festive sprinkles. They are best when eaten warm.
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon of butter
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 small pinch of salt
1 egg yolks
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of sprinkles
Next up is a delicious Christmas Gingerbread cookie in a coffee cup.

Feel free to add some Christmas edible decoration to make it more jolly.

Next up is a Christmas Chocolate Cookie.
In a microwavable cup, add melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar and an egg yolk and mix these all together. When mixed, add the dry ingredients (flour, coco powder, and a pinch of salt) and then mix all these ingredients together. These cookies take no time at all -- put each cup separately in the microwave for about 45 seconds to a minute. The timing is based on 1200 watts. (I suggest you check the wattage of your microwave as it may vary). When cookie is ready, it's time to decorate it. Add some mini marshmallows on top. You can then put the cup back in the microwave for around 15 seconds to soften the marshmallows up or you can also use a kitchen torch just to toast them.
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of white sugar
1 egg yolks
2 teaspoons of cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of flour
1 pinch of salt
5 mini Marshmallows
These three festive cookies are even more reasons to celebrate Christmas this season.
