Russian Teacakes for the Holidays! 37 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

Hello Everyone! it is holiday season here and these Russian Tea Cakes are delicious!

These are one of my favorite cookies as they melt in your mouth and are so easy to make at the same time!

RECIPE-

1 C. Real Butter softened

1/2 C. Powdered Sugar

1 Teaspoon

2 !/4 C. All purpose Flour or If Gluten Free use the 1 to 1 Gluten Free Flour

3/4 C. Finely chopped nuts 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

More powdered sugar for rolling it after it comes out of the oven.

Heat oven to 400.

Mix all the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Add nuts, flour & salt until well formed.

Roll into 1 inch balls, place about 1 inch apart on ungreased non stick cookie sheet.

Bake 10 minutes or until set but not brown- then while still warm, roll them in the powdered sugar.

Lett them cool a few minutes then roll them in sugar again.

Enjoy these holiday cookies!

Thx for the trip down memory lane. I used to make these all the time as a kid because my brother loved them. But he wasnt a huge fan of the nuts even finely ground so I didn't put them in. I should make again and see if his tastes have changed any. Resteemed

I love these too! They just seem to melt in your mouth, lol! You can also use the ones without nuts and put small pieces of caramel inside them while they cook! Those are awesome too!
