Not many know the secret of these veggies but I bet our mom knows about it just that she might not be able to explain it to us scientifically. Let me explain what these unique vegetables are and why they help to burn stomach fat.

Cruciferous vegetables

Broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, kale, bok choy, cabbage, etc. are types of Cruciferous vegetables that contain substances like indoles (indole-3-carbinol) which can and do have an effect on hormones, particularly estrogen. Estrogen dominance in your body causes hormonal imbalances that can be a factor in weight gain. This is just 1 more step in helping you to win the battle against abdominal fat! Not only that, cruciferous vegetables also low in calories, and loaded with minerals and fiber.

Would you have guess pumpkin? Yeah sure you do. Pumpkin is pack with very high in vitamin A and beta-carotene. But the main nutrient here that allows it to burn fat is ‘Potassium’. Whenever someone’s mentioned potassium, banana will be at the way. But just so you know, pumpkin contains way more potassium than banana (puuffffff~~~~ mindblowing sound).

Why potassium is good for burning abdominal fat?

Potassium works with sodium to maintain the body’s water balance. Your body holds water if you not drinking enough thus cause bloating stomach. This is called ‘Water Retention’. Consuming potassium lowers bloat and on the bonus side it lower your risk for stroke by double digit percentages.

Onions

Apart from making you cry when cutting it, onions contain a substance called ‘Quercetin’ that actually help to fight against stubborn belly fat. Quercetin is an antioxidant, and is one of the most powerful natural anti-inflammatories. Quercetin helps in boosting the metabolism of fats. The anti-inflammatory property of quercetin helps in suppressing production of pro-inflammatory chemicals that stimulate the growth of the fat tissues.

So there you have it! three vegetables that may give you some unexpected benefits when you start including them in your diet on a regular basis. But don't get too excited. You know that your abdominal fat won't just go away if you ordered saute'broccoli and pumpkin on the side right? Now you know and gain more knowledge about the good properties in these veggies so that you can arrange your diet accordingly. Sounds good to me ^_^

As promised here we are, happy to provide you with some recommendations regarding your blog.
Before starting to comment this article you've chosen for us, we'd like to talk about your profile description: "Too many interests, too little time.." That's so true.

However, having many interests is not really a plus when it comes to blogging. At least in the beginning, when setting up "your brand" you should try to clearly define the area you're wanting to attack (be good at). It's like in real life: you can't be a star chef and the world's best tennis player at the same time. Why? Because you can't professionally play a tennis game really well and serve your restaurant's guests like they expect it at the same time :-)

That's exactly how it works on steemit.
Try to become a PRO in one specific field...

If you picked out 2-3 topcis where you are really good at (like cooking, health and "a women's daily life" e.g.), then you could fous on them and try to become really good in that area. That also includes that you may study other blogger's pages here that are already successful in these areas. Try to learn from them! Read their blogs, write down what you like about it and try to find something similar in your own blog - something that stands out!
When talking about food, you may focus on local food that is specific in your area. Tell people something new they still don't know! That creates value - thus will be upvoted.

Question: Have you already done an #introduceyourself post? If not, you should do it and then give people an outline about what they're going to find in your blog (like a forecast). We will follow you and keep watching your success :-)
