How to make plant based milk - part 2 (Soy Milk)

Plant based milk always gives feeling of compassion, while you use you didn't harm any sentient being for your food. As I mention I used to make different types of plant based milk, so today I am sharing Soy milk recipe which I tried several times.

Soy milk has high content of isoflavones, protein, vitamins and minerals. Where animal milk do not contain any fiber contain soy does contain fibers.
There are some amazing benefits of soy milk like it-

Improve Lipid Profile
Promote Weight Loss
Strengthen Blood Vessel Integrity
Prevent Osteoporosis
Prevent Prostate Cancer
Prevent Postmenopausal Syndromes

With lots of health benefits soy milk is easy to prepare and very cost effective also.

Ingredients required

Soybeans - 1 cup
Water - 1 liter
Salt, to taste (optional)
Sugar, to taste (optional)
Flavor - Vanilla essence or cardamom (it is optional)

Procedure

Rinse the soybeans

Soak the soybeans overnight
Drain the soybeans and wash couple of times

Roll the soybeans between your fingers to remove skin

Place the beans and one liter of water into the blender (you can do in two parts also if blender in not big enough)
Run the blender on high for couple of minutes

Strain the soy milk

Heat soy milk over medium low heat to bring it to a boil, stir continuously
Add salt and flavorings(optional)
Your milk is ready

Do you use BIO (no GMO) soya?

I prefer BIO. But I use coconut milk more as compare to soy.

I usually use rice and coconut milk.
