I used to do a topping/filling that was similar to this one. Use the pudding and pie filling mix but substitute the milk with crushed pineapple in its own juice. It gives a bit of a different twist and if you really want to gild the lily, sprinkle some coconut flakes on the top. And no you find these in any bakeshop!
