BIG BURGER WORLD

Our adventure begins in a little place called Canyon City, Colorado, where the train that runs through the Royal Gorge departs. But that's another post.

Time: Approximately 1:30 PM on a Tuesday.

After travelling for a short time from home base the hubs and I were quite excited for our first stop on our mini adventure: BIG BURGER WORLD.

Yes. That tiny little building, with only outside seating, may serve the BIGGEST burgers in the world (and delicious to boot!).

We stepped up to the order window and were promptly greeted. While they DID have human-sized options, we both went for the jumbo-sized namesake. With side orders and shakes galore to round out your dining experience, we decided on only a single side of onion rings.

Mere moments passed until a very happy, high-pitched voice yelled our number (74, if you were wondering). Excitedly we opened our styrofoam boxes to this:

Yes. Yes, indeed. He did it. He ate (almost) all of it. 😳

I did not. There was no way. And after the next several hours, I was quite glad I stopped when I did. Chris, however, didn't really need to eat for the next couple of days. 😁

Overall Big Burger World gets 4.5 out of 5 stars. The half off is because of their huge amount of styrofoam use. #ifeveryonehelpsalittle

That evening we had planned to eat at a Mexican place (cause- Margaritas, duh) and still did, but mostly drank.😏

And in true BIG fashion, we went jumbo on the 'ritas too.
