Don't be afraid to dazzle - Butchering a pig
I am very proud of my little girl today after helping butcher one of our pigs and even tasting some of the fresh hart and liver.
It was delicious and cooked by a 11 year old boy with some very nice manners. I'm going to try to post a photo story of the entire process tomorrow.

Looks like some good homeschooling there,...I wish my dad had taught me all that.
Well actually it was a learning experience for me too. Some friends were nice enough to show us how it's done right.
If you want to live off grid, it is just one more skill to acquire.
