Hello!

Today we will cook a very delicious and tender chicken in batter. Japanese style, beautiful view, quick cooking. And on weekdays is not bad and guests are not ashamed to serve )).

We once cookied tempura from the finished mixture, and today we will try to cook everything ourselves.

Number of servings: 2-3

Ingredients:

Tori tempura

  • Chicken fillet, 360 gr.
  • Wheat flour, 40 gr.
  • Corn flour, 90 gr.
  • Spicy paprika, 1/2 tsp.
  • Baking powder, 5 gr.
  • Powdered sugar, 4 gr.
  • Lemon juice, 5 ml
  • Vegetable oil, salt
  • Teriyaki sauce and cilantro to serve

Cut the chicken into strips, salt to taste. Mix the lemon juice, powdered sugar, paprika and marinate the chicken for five minutes.

Mix together both flours, baking powder, a pinch of salt and 140 ml of water until smooth.

Dip the chicken in the batter so that it evenly covers the pieces.

Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan to a light smoke in an amount sufficient for deep-frying. Fry the chicken in small batches for a minute on each side.

Ready-made pieces spread on a napkin to remove the oil.
