Easy recipe with few ingredients. This delicious dish serves to accompany chicken, meat. You can vary the preparation by adding other ingredients, such as: bacon, ham, the result is a spectacular taste, just imagine the recipe.
INGREDIENTS
- Potatoes.
- White cheese.
FOR WHITE SAUCE.
- Half a liter of milk.
- 2 butter spoons.
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 garlics
- Half white onion
- Chives
- Salt to taste.
PREPARATION
- Wash the potatoes and take them to a pot with water for about 12 minutes (half cooked).
- Reserve them.
- Remove the skin and cut into slices.
- Meanwhile, chop half white onion into small squares, crush the garlic very well.
- Heat the two tablespoons of butter, add the white onion and garlic. (move until onion is transparent).
- Add the cup of milk. Rectify the salt.
- In another cup with cold milk add the two tablespoons of cornstarch. Add to the preparation, move constantly until it thickens and achieve the white sauce.
- Place a very thin layer of butter and a white sauce on the refractory.
- Then place a layer of potatoes and another white sauce and so on until you reach the last layer of white cheese. Put a handful of chives to taste.
- Preheat the oven.
- Bake for about 15 minutes. (Until the cheese is golden brown).
- Remove from oven, wait a few minutes to serve, ready to eat the potatoes au gratin in white sauce.
