#1. [Introduction - Korean Food] Sliced Rice Cake and Dumpling Soup- Tteok and mandoo soup

From today, I will introduce Korean food every day.

Today the first dish to introduce Korean food is tteok and mandoo soup.
In Korean, Tteok is rice cake and mandoo is Dumpling.

Many koreans eat this food on January 1st every year.
It is believed that people should eat it on January 1 to be one year older.
So when I was young, I remember eating more than two bowls to grow older.
But if I really eat Tteok and mandoo soup and get older, now I want to stop eating it. :)

Then, Let's start cooking.

Ingredients: rice cake / dumpling / green onion / eggs

Seasoning: Soy sauce / salt

First of all, let's have broth.

Put anchovy and dried kelp together with 1.5 liters of water and boil for 10 minutes.

Fill the water with rice cake

You can just wash the rice cake and put it in the water. However, if you slightly fill the water with rice cake and put it in, it will make it much softer.

Chop the green onion.

If you buy a bundle of green onions, you rot off, don't you? Let me tell you a tip.
Wash the scallions clean, cut them in half and keep them frozen.
Whenever U want to use it. just take one out from frozen.

Now, please take out anchovies and kelp from stock.

Add rice cake, dumplings, green onion, soy sauce (2 spoons) and salt (1/2 spoon).

Finally, please add eggs.

Now, Let's enjoy it.
