Fir tree with Nutella
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 puff pastries
- A small chocolate / hazelnut spread
- 1 egg for gilding
- Some elements for decoration (smarties, m & m's, dragibus, chocolate ...)
- Ice sugar for finishing (optional)
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 180 ° C
Unroll the first puff pastry by keeping it on its baking sheet
Spread Nutella over the whole surface and cover with the second puff pastry
Using a knife cut the dough * to form a fir tree
Cut strips of dough on both sides (making sure to keep the center intact)
Gently wrap each slat to twist them
Using a pastry brush, brown the whole tree with the beaten egg
Bake for 15 to 30 minutes until the whole is golden brown
Let cool (or eat warm, it's even better!)
Decorate as you like and sprinkle with icing sugar
