GETTING READY FOR THE BIRTHDAY PARTY OF 80 YEAR OLD
When the boys got home, they were very helpful with the twins.
Luan’s mother and grandmother were making cakes and, the nicest salty food for the birthday party the next day.
It would be a real farm party and they would have wonderful food that all South Africans like very much.
Here in South Africa we make “koeksisters” and “melktert”as these are very traditional to us.
Nice koeksisters.
There will be lots of biltong also a very traditional for all South Africans and it will just be fun.
The cake will have 80 on top to show grandfathers age.
Farmers are very traditional people, and still do things the way from way back.
There was an ox on the spit as that took very long to braai. They will do two sheep the next morning as they do not take that long.
The boys took the twins in their pram to go and see all these things.
They knew that Jared’s father will come tomorrow, but he still had to work and as he had not worked there so very long, he did not want to take leave.
Jared said he is going to be so surprised to see this all happening.
The next day they will put out all the tables outside and that is where everyone will come together.
They walked around a bit and then decided it was hot outside and had to take the twins home.
Tomorrow was going to be a wonderful day.
It is not everyday that you reach the age of 80 Luan said he is such a wonderful man.

The age of 80, is without doubt, a large number. and you have to celebrate it in style. a very nice story
