Its not easy to get good halibut here, and its really expensive, too. But the idea of a burger with fried fish is generally good. We have something similar (but simpler) here: its just a bun with some salad and sauce and baked pollack fillet inside. Its something you can buy as street food here in town, ready to eat.
Pollack is a good fish, although I like cod more
Pollack is the most affordable sea fish here. Fish fingers and much other deep frozen fish is Pollack, it makes about 80% of the fish sold in total, I guess.
A good option. We have the most popular fish -herring.
Most often in salt form.
Hering is pretty popular here, too. But its better when pickeled or similar, not as fish for frying. Makarel also, and smoked as well.
I live about 400 km away from the next coast, so it not so easy to get good fresh fish. Frozen is usually the better option here.
