Will run for food
Saturday I took part in my first ‘trail run 5K’. It was a fundraiser put in where my hubs works & it was the first they’ve done.
It was a scenic 5K route through the gardens, up & down hills and around many corners.
I went with an older, non-runner, friend of mine so we just walked it. But we did a 16 minute mile time, so not bad!
Afterwards hubby & I had a little date.
Amazing burgers & a couple sour beers for me. The best part of fitness days is not feeling guilty about a greasy burger, sweet potato fries and a couple drinks.
