Dinner! European Style! Schnitzel!
Schnitzel...mmm...mmm. I think most of us know how delicious and tasty schnitzels are.
When you travel to Europe or if you live there, you know, a month will not pass by without eating at least one of these.
These are very popular with potatoes and a side salad or rice and veggies.
Today I have this recipe to share with you so you can enjoy this delicious dinner at the convenience of your home.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb of pork ((eye of loin cut) or meat of your choice)
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups bred crumbs
- salt, pepper to taste
- oil for frying
Pound the meat with a wooden or metal mallet.
Season the meat with salt and pepper.
Lightly beat the eggs.
Dip the meat in the eggs first and next in the bread crumbs.
When you're done with the breading,
heat up the frying pan with the oil on a high heat.
Fry them on both sides until looking nicely brownish-goldish.
Something like this :)
I like to serve them with boiled potatoes and beets salad.
Would you eat this kind of dinner?
This is a great recipe and quite easy to make.
Make it for yourself :)))
ENJOY!!!

This is my favourite dish!
It's hard not to like it!...is it? ;)
Easy recipe, but very tasty!
Yes! Indeed @deleni :)
looks so delicious, i would like to eat this
I love schnitzel kind of food, though I am more fond to the Japanese version (katsu-don, for example). I guess the juiciness of the schnitzel is depending on the meat, but honestly, I would put sauce on it, do you have any suggestion for that?
A mushroom sauce would go nicely with a schnitzel :))
That looks so delicious but unfortunately I don't eat gluten anymore.
In this case, you can substitute regular bread crumbs for gluten free bread crumbs and you'll have a gluten free version of a schnitzel ;)
Right on- I like brown rice bread!
Yes, I would!) Beautiful serving! Simple and tasteful! Thanks for sharing!
