Pork Chop | Spanish Gambas | Foie Gras Salad | Duck Confit | Beer & Wine
A few weeks ago I went out for dinner with my lovely wife. We ate at a restaurant called 'The wine connection''. We usually eat there for special occasions.
We ordered our drinks. I got a Memmenger beer and my wife got a glass of house red wine. We started off with a leafy green salad with shaved foie gras on top. I never thought to put foie gras on a salad, it was excellent.

Vor ein paar Wochen ging ich mit meiner schönen Frau zum Abendessen. Wir aßen in einem Restaurant namens 'The wine connection' '. Wir essen dort gewöhnlich für besondere Anlässe.
Wir bestellten unsere Getränke. Ich bekam ein Memmenger Bier und meine Frau bekam ein Glas Haus Rotwein. Wir begannen mit einem grünen grünen Salat mit rasiertem Foie Gras an der Spitze. Ich habe nie gedacht, Foie Gras auf einen Salat zu legen, es war ausgezeichnet.

Our second appetizer came. It was fantastic. Spanish gambas is sauteed prawns cooked in garlic dusted with paprika, olive oil and chili peppers.
Unsere zweite Vorspeise kam. Es war fantastisch. Spanische Gambas ist gebratene Garnelen in Knoblauch mit Paprika, Olivenöl und Chilischoten getrocknet gekocht.
The main course finally arrived. I ordered the grilled kurobuta pork chop dinner. It came with potato wedges and shallots and green beans with a side of sauce.
Das Hauptgericht kam schließlich an. Ich bestellte das gegrillte Kurobuta Schweinekotelett Abendessen. Es kam mit Kartoffelkeulen und Schalotten mit einer Seite von Sauce.
My wife ate the duck confit. She said it wasn't that good. Take note.
Meine Frau aß die Ente. Sie sagte, es war nicht so gut. Beachten.
