Yesterday’s Wagyu Brunch!
Happy Tuesday Steemit tribe! It seems we are having another hot day today here in Southern California, how is the weather where you live? We’ve been having crazy weather patterns and it seems it will be cooling off drastically by tomorrow.
My son went to the Asian market yesterday and brought back some shiitake mushrooms and sliced wagyu beef perfect for cooking on our hibachi!
To marinate the meat, I diced some garlic from our garden and squeezed the juice of half an orange and half a small lemon.
Then I used very little salt, soy sauce, pepper, a dash of chili flakes and a bit of brown sugar.
After letting it sit for a couple of minutes I quickly grilled it on our hibachi and served it alongside white jasmine rice and the mushrooms I had fried in butter and garlic.
It was a super quick and delicious meal to make! I probably will be making it again as my son really enjoyed it. Meals as these are perfect for hot days!
