kopi Luac is the most expensive coffee in the world: 1700 euros the kilo.
The civet ,a nocturnal mammal living in Indonesia, feeds on ripe coffee berries but, unable to digest the grains, it defiles them intact. And when grain passes through the digestive system of the civet, a combination of enzymes results in a chemical reaction that gives coffee a unique taste.
