Traditional + Modern Serve

Have you ever eaten authentic Malay food? If not, you can try at Garuda restaurants, night me and my friends out of the house for a walk, because we felt it was hungry, so we bought dinner there. The price is not too expensive, affordable for all types of cuisines.

Because of the lack of time to eat on the ground, we finally decided to wrap up our dinner, and we ate together in the field, and converse and feel the night of the week.

That night I went straight down from the car and headed into the shop, there are a lot of menus on the shelf, I also feel confused what to order anything, because everything looks delicious. It was only then I select the menu below for my Collaborate with white rice.


SERVICE

The servants are serving the buyers, they enter into each menu to order takeout, there is also used as a buffet. (All menus served at the same dinner table to the customer).


KREMES FRIED CHICKEN

This is my favorite fried chicken, the taste is very savory, fried using grated coconut, grated ginger and grated galangal, coupled for other seasonings, make chicken taste is different when compared to fried chicken elsewhere. When ordering a chicken, I always tell them to add its kremes, tasteful. "Kremes" is a kind of crispness in fast food fried chicken you'll ever see, it just tastes different.


FLOURED FRIED SHRIMP

This shrimp before frying, first pierced by a stick, with 4 shrimp, they enter into a fried flour dough and add flavor. Crunchy when eaten. Shrimp was derived from shrimp choices, it was bigger than the size of an adult thumb.


JENGKOL CHILLI SAUCES

I think, you have not been eating this vegetable. It's called jengkol, one of the typical foods derived Javanese, these foods are very popular only by people who have ever tried it, if you do not try, you might be a little uncomfortable with the smell, but it was great, very tasty and addictive. In addition to the chili, jengkol is also delicious cooked with curry and stew, the name is "semur jengkol".


THE OMELET WITH GRATE COCONUT SEASONING + ONION LEAF

The eggs were mixed with a flavor of grated coconut, turmeric and green onion, when you eat it, you will feel the aroma of saffron thick. The omelet has already become a tradition for generations of Sumatra, the Malay Archipelago.


KETCHUP SAUCES

This sauce contains liquid brown sugar, soy sauce and chili mill, suitable eaten with fried fish or fried chicken. Spicy and sweet flavor that comes out of this sauce is addictive to eat fried chicken or fried fish.


TRADITIONAL WRAPPING

One of the more unique than the typical food of this restaurant is the package. You can just tell them to put your food into a modern package such as a lunch box. But do you know if the package can make the food in it more palatable? Well, this comes from a layer of banana leaves, beyond using plain wrapping paper, using the inside layer of banana leaves that can make more fresh and distinctive aroma.



There are still many other menus that I could not take pictures, and because I just ordered a menu that I have described above. Time to go home and eat food that I have purchased in the Garuda Restaurant. You can view it directly on their website. Because apart in Sumatra, Garuda branch of this restaurant has spread to several countries, such as Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, including some other countries.
