Chia chocolate pudding :) :)
When you are a full-time student in the time of final exams Sundays and Saturdays don't really exist. However, you can always take a sweet break and prepare something chocolaty for someone you love :)
Even though I knew about chia seeds for years (and the pudding too), for some reason I've never bothered to actually buy them, talk less about making something sweet out of chia seeds. I know, I know, I should have... It is never too late!
This is how it turned out!
A friend of a friend gave me an inspiration and told me a recipe. Of course, I forgot it, and what is even worse I didn't have her contact. So Google saved the situation, actually Minimalist Baker. So, dear Minimalist Baker you don't know me, I don't know you, but you save breakfasts, lunches, dinners and desserts on the daily basis. Thank you! :)
I didn't follow the recipe to the letter because I never do. So instead of almond milk I used rice milk and I avoided honey.
Turned out pretty nice! I figured it would go really well with the nuts, almonds and berries. Bananas are great too!!

Looks delish @ardas
It sure was! It had very natural chocolaty flavour to it. Not to sweet, just right! Plus it's perfect in the summer when it comes out of fridge :)
Looking forward to test this.
I love Chia, I have a 5.5 tub of Organic Chia made by a company called Badia that they sell for less than $16. Amazing deal, I was so happy to find it.
Nice! That's pretty sweet deal! ;)
I've just discovered them...slowly and surely falling for them. ;)
This looks really nice and I love the idea of adding rice milk as well. No doubt you enjoyed every bit of this chocolate pudding.
Thnx! It's not even about me enjoying (which I did, I wished I made some more), my true enjoyment is seeing someone else enjoying it :)
👍 👍 👍
I always have a box of chia seeds in my house. I use it in my daily smoothies. Very healthy stuff!
Smart! Do you wait a little bit for chia seeds to soak up some water?
I just throw them in my Nutribullet, together with all the other ingredients
Aha great! I heard that you have to let them sit for a while, but I guess it's not so necessary :) Thnx for the advice :)
Maybe I do it the wrong way.
No, I don't think so. It's just because some people find chia seeds a little bit difficult to digest, due to their fiber content and property of collecting water, therefore sometimes they let them sit in the water for some time :)
This looks so good. I made a vanilla chia pudding a while back but can't find the recipe so will be trying this out this weekend :) thank you for the recipe and I am following to see what you come up with next.
Wow, thank you so much! I appreciate it :) I'm so glad that you got inspired :) It seems that chain of inspiration is continuing ;)
