~ Green pea cream soup ~

Friends I want to share with you a great recipe vegetable soup that perfectly satisfies hunger and gives a real pleasure from lunch. This is a cream soup made from fresh green peas.

In my past posts, I've said that I eat Intuitively. Today I will tell you a little more about this diet and why I chose this way.
Human health consists of two components: physical health(body) and psychological health (our emotions and soul). And in General, it is impossible to have excellent health if one of these components is broken. Proper diet. I tried it a few times ago. My body felt great. I divided my diet into strict compliance with all the requirements and points of "Proper nutrition". It was 24/7 control . Counting calories, excluding just of harmful from the menu. I just couldn't relax and enjoy the food. My emotional health suffered during this period.

But intuitive nutrition implies a complete harmony between physical and psychological health. You can eat whatever you want. What you really want. Taking a choice about this way of nutrition you have to be very sensitive to the signals of your body. Listen to yourself and give a response. The main rule of intuitive food is that you should eat moderately, just enough food to satisfy your hunger, but not to experience overeating. And then you can even eat carbs overnight. After all, you don't do it every day, so it doesn't harm your physical health.

Starting to listen to the signals of my body in relation to food, I realized that my body is fine without meat. Especially now, in the hot season. The main food on my table is vegetables, fruits and some desserts. Yes, we like sweets. But we eat them in moderation, and so they can not harm physical health. I am also actively engaged in sports now. Daily Cycling several times a day, self - study of yoga practices, running, Hiking several times a week-all this helps me to keep my body in order. And intuitive nutrition only adds pleasure and simple joy in my life. And now I can confidently say that I have achieved a balance between physical and psychological health.

And this pea soup is a great example of how vegetables can make a nutritious lunch that can be easily taken by the body. This soup has a lot of useful energy and taste. Try it!

Ingredients:

  • 2 potatoes,
  • 2 carrots,
  • 1 onion,
  • olive oil for frying,
  • fresh green peas ( or frozen) 300 g,
  • 1.5 liters of vegetable broth,
  • salt, spices,
  • pumpkin seeds 1 spoon,
  • fresh herbs,
  • bread crackers to taste.

Cooking:

1. Fry the chopped onions and carrots in a large saucepan.
2. Add the potatoes into cubes and fry a little.
3. Add peas, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Pour vegetable broth, salt and spices.
5. Cook until ready, then turn the soup into a puree with a blender.
6. Add pumpkin seeds, fresh herbs and bread crackers to the soup to taste.
