Hi everyone! You have to know about all of food in the world, especially in Aceh, Indonesia. The one menu mainstay in Aceh Kuah Pliek (Vegetable Pliek U). Kuah Pliek is a mixture of several types of vegetable cooked with coconut milk. The main ingredients to cook the Kuah Pliek is Pliek U itself. That one commodity is produced only in Aceh. The method of processing is coconut to extract the oil, which has been occupied for generations, since time immemorial. As local wisdom.

Processing plik u there are 2 ways:
For the first is fermentation, Fermentation is the process of energy production in the cells in a state of anaerobic (without oxygen). With fermentation, we can use old coconut then that are stored more than 1 week. During the storage is carried out stirring at least 2 times. Second, Coconut that has been fermented earlier, now dried in the sun. On the first day to the second, only drying, to remove water content in the material. The third day, the drying is carried out gradually with pressing. Hot conditions facilitate the extraction of oil.Drying and pressing is done repeatedly. If the sun conditions are good, it usually just takes two days to extract any oil. So stay Pliek U as a residue. The dregs are then roasted to be used as a basic marinade making Kuah Pliek.
