570 gram Rib Eye Fillet Steak
The beef here in Australia is delicious, and its safe to say that us Aussie's love a good steak. I had been looking at this cut of meat every time i go to the store and i finally decided to treat myself to a juicy 570 gram, 2 inch thick rib eye fillet steak with the bone in.
The steak was coated in oilive oil and heavily seasoned with salt and pepper before being put in a pan at the highest heat. the steak was cooked for about 8 minutes per turn and on all sides to seal in the juices, then into the oven at 180 degrees for about 10-15 minutes. it came out perfect at medium rare.
The steak was accompanied by wedges, eggs fried in the juices from the steak, and broccolini. I used the juices from the pan the steak was in during its blast in the oven as a sauce.
It was all so delicious, i love steak so much.
