Gingerbread cookies
Hello my beloved family of steemit, Merry Christmas! I hope you have spent a few nice days with your loved ones, today I bring you a very simple recipe that turns out to be a classic recipe at this time, most of us know the gingerbread but not many know its taste because here in latin America is not very cookie.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of ginger powder.
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 300 grams of wheat flour.
- 1 egg.
- 1/2 cup of molasses.
- 100 grams of butter.
- 100 grams of sugar.1 tablespoon of baking powder.
- 1/2 spoonful of salt
Preparation:
Mix: sugar, egg, molasses and butter with the help of an electric mixer and mix until everything is integrated, the mixture will look cut but do not worry. In a bowl add all the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, sweet cloves, cinnamon and ginger. Then add them little by little to the mixture of egg, butter and molasses. Knead until the mixture is compact, it is not necessary that you knead for a long time, it should only be compact with the ingredients well integrated. Put the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour wrapped in plastic paper. Spread the dough on a flat, floured surface, spread until it is about 1 cm thick.Cut each cookie with the gingerbread cutter or cutter of your choice. ![hombres.png]()Place your cookies in a greased and floured baking tray.
