Smoothie of the Day: Berry Love!

A great start of a great day. While it is a gray, rainy day, I'm in a happy mood today. Looking forward to tonight's yoga workshop and It's almost weekend too. Cause where we live it's already Thursday! So, the day can't get any better! Hope you had or having a great day too!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh spinach, packed
  • 2 cups mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons dried goji berries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend spinach and almond milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
  2. Optional: top with chia seeds and goji berries, or other superfoods/toppings of your choice.

Recipe Notes

  • Use one or more frozen fruits to chill the smoothie.
  • If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base.
