Smoothie of the day: Green Tropical Bliss

Breakfast time on my side of the world... Fresh locally grown fruits and veggies straight from the local market. Nothing better to start your day with all the nutrients your body needs. What did you have for breakfast?

INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2 FOR BREAKFAST)

1.5 cup Cambodian spinach
1/2-1 cup fresh moringa leaves
2 cups mango
1 cup pineapple
2 passionfruits
2 cups water
1-2 tbsp extra-virgin coconut oil to curb to appetite.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend spinach and water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
  2. Add superfoods - such as raw cacao nibs/powder, goji berries, chia seeds or hemp hearts - if you like.
