Khmer New Year Smoothie: Avocado, Pineapple, Parsley Energy Kick
Happy Khmer New Year to all my Cambodian friends and everybody who is up for another New Year Celebration. If there is one thing Cambodians are good at (among many other things of course) then it's to party! Day one was a calm day... but today I'm getting my minion water gun with reloading station and baby powder out for the full New Year experience!
Can't wait till tonight... but first things first... a green smoothie for breakfast!
Ingredients
1 cup parsley (half a bunch or less)
1 cup spinach
½ avocado
1 big, ripe pear
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup water
1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
Instructions
- Blend parsley, spinach, water, and orange juice until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and blend again. If you have a high-speed blender throw everything in at once. Use one or more frozen fruits to chill the smoothie.

Yes, Songkran used to be our New Year in the old days! But, now we celebrate it as significant days of water festival; most of us enjoy water and powder, the same as you there! ;)

Yes, I enjoyed watching the photos from my sister and my friends, they had a lot of fun. (Only few people splashed water around my area, it's very quiet!)

I'll try and put them up today! With small movie since pictures were hard to make.. when you have a water gun (and are a foreigner), you are a target of all the other people too... was a very wet night out!
