Green Grape Smoothie - Smooth, Sweet, Tangy, and Tasty!
Breakfast time on my side of the world! Made this yummy breakfast smoothie packed with all the nutrients you need to fly through your day!
Why add coconut oil you may ask. First of all coconut oil is one of the healthiest fats on our planet. Furthermore, it helps curb hunger cravings and enables the body to absorb more plant nutrients from the other ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 cups bok choy
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 1/2 avocado
*1.5 cup mangoes chunks - 2 cups green grapes (preferably seedless)
- 2 cups unsweetened coconut water
- 1-2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil (optional)
Instructions
- Blend bok choy, parsley and coconut water (or water) until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again.
- Add superfoods - such as raw cacao nibs/powder, goji berries, chia seeds - if you like. I topped mine with mulberries, chia seeds, and coconut flakes.
Recipe Notes
- Use one or more frozen fruits to chill the smoothie.
- If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base.
- If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
