Best Vegetarian Burger. Simply Tasty!

Hi guys I have made this tasty burger just the other day and it was simply so tasty that I just had to share the recipe with you! The picture is to get your mouth watering and the recipe below the picture is to make sure you do not miss out on this tasty burger. Bon appetit friends.

Ingredients:

1 cup rolled oats
¼ cup all-purpose wheat flour
½ cup breadcrums
2 tomatoes
1 medium onion
1 small leek
12 green leaf letuce leaves
6 wheat burger buns
2 medium carrot
2 avocados
2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
6 tbsp of vegetable oil
Pinch of pepper
¼ cup corn
1 tsp salt
1 medium potato
Pinch nutmeg
½ tsp coriander

Yield: 6 burgers

Preparation:

Mince the onion and peel the potato.

Soak rolled oats in water for 15 minutes and drain them well by squeezing all the remaining water.

While the rolled oats are being soaked heat 3 tsp of vegetable oil in the pan, place in minced onion and sauté for 5 - 8 minutes until yellow, stirring occasionally. When the onions turn yellow, grate in carrot and potato and add ½ tsp salt.

Place this mixture in the bowl together with drained rolled oats, breadcrums, flour, finely chopped parsley, corn, coriander, nutmeg, pepper and ½ tsp salt. Stir the mixture until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

Form 6 cm patties.

Slice tomatoes and leek into thin slices. Peel and cut avocado into long 1 cm wide slices.

Heat 3 tsp vegetable oil in the pan, place in patties and fry them over medium heat on each side for 4 - 7 minutes until brown.

In the burger buns place lettuce, sliced tomato, oat pattie, leek and avocado.

Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
