LADY BUG SANDWICHES RECIPE

Today I will show you how to make ladybug sandwiches, its such a fun food for kids or even for adults. 

These are my favorite sandwiches in the world! You can change up the sandwich filling and ideas are endless. 

Its a fun way of serving the sandwiches at your dinner parties and for your kids. 

I don't have kids, but if you do, they will love these trust me! :)) 

Ingredients we will need:

8 slices of ciabatta bread - 4 cut into 8 pieces
150 gr of kolbosa - pork sausage, you can also use ham or any other meat
100 gr of cheddar cheese
4 cherry tomatoes
6 black olives
3 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp of mayonnaise
few stalks of parsley

Directions 

Step 1 : Grate your cheese, crush the garlic and mix with mayonnaise.
Step 2 : Place the bread on a tray, add the kolbosa ( sausage meat) , then add the mixture of cheese and garlic.
Step 3: Grill them until brown ( you can also use microwave to make it faster, but the bread might go softer)
Step 4 : Make the lady bugs. Cut cherry tomatoes in half - this is the body. Then cut olives in quarters - this is the head. Use the remaining olives for the black spots on lady bug. Decorate with some parsley to give it grass effect and place each lady bug on a sandwich.
