The compote is one of the simplest and aromatic drinks, and the taste can be the most incredible, and you can use any type of fruit.

In this case I will present the black plum compote. The bitter taste prevails in the compote, which emphasizes the magical taste of this drink, and is not very saturated with sweetness. And, probably, he will be the dearest in the circle of his family and loved ones. I hope that the plum compote recipe will be useful.

Ingredients for 3 liters of compote:

  • Plum - 1/3 of a three liter can.
  • Granulated sugar - 1.5 cups.
  • Water - 2.5 liters.

Preparation:

First put water, boil in gas. And at this time, prepare prunes. Rinse the plums thoroughly with running water and separate the stems. It is not necessary to cut the bone, as it gives a delicious and rich flavor. Then wash the jar with soda and place the berries there about a third. Take juicy and ripe plum of any kind, but not too acidic, as you will have to increase the amount of granulated sugar.

When the water starts to boil, fill the jar for the first time with your neck and cover with a canning lid. You do not need to sterilize the bottle and the lid, as it will pour 2 times and self-sterilization will occur. Let warm for 5-10 minutes.

Add the granulated sugar to the pan where the water was boiling. Then, pour the entire contents of the jar using the lid with holes and boil again.

After boiling, fill the plum with syrup and close the jar with a sewing machine. Carefully turn the jar over the sink to prevent the lid from breaking. If the drops of water do not drip, turn the jar upside down to cool.

Store the cooled stewed plum in a dark place at room temperature in your home.
