A traditional sweet food made in Romania is the Sponge Cake or "Home made Cozonac" how we like to call it in Romania. It is made out of soft dough filled either with poppy or walnut or sometimes with just cacao and raisins.

Here is also a recipe that I normaly use to prepare the Sponge Cake for my family around the winter holidays.
