DIA MUNDIAL DE LA AREPA!
Caracas, 09 de septiembre de 2017. Este sábado se celebra el Día Mundial de la Arepa, plato típico de Venezuela y Colombia cuyo origen se remonta a los pueblos indígenas, que sembraron, recolectaron y procesaron el maíz, como parte de su dieta cotidiana.
Se dice que los indigenas y los exclavos africanos cuando llegaron a America en 1492 prepararon una expecie de masa con el maiz y de todas las sobras que dejaban los expañoles ( carne, pollo, etc) ellos lo untaban y se lo colocaban a la masa, de ahi surge las arepas con rellenos, empanas y tacos mexicanos.
En Venezuela es el desayuno predilecto de todos, creo que el 90% de los hogares Venezolanos desayuna con la famosa Arepa
Reconocida a nivel mundial hay diferentes formas de comer la arepa. Mi familia numerosa de mas de 12 personas las he visto comer de 8 formas posibles Incluso he visto personas como mi padre comerla con cuchillo y tenedor.
Mi esposa la abre en dos para comerla separadamente
En lo personal lo hago de la manera mas comun con el relleno ( queso, pollo o lo que sea)
Que viva la arepa y que no le falte a ningun Venezolano en el mundo.!
