Bordered by Hungary and Slovakia to the East, Italy and Slovania to the South, Germany and Czech republic to the North and Switzerland and Lieantenstein to the West is the REPUBLIC OF AUSTRIA. The REPUBLIC OF AUSTRIA covers 83,879kilometers square of land area.
Its lands are mostly mountains with highest point of 3,798meters, just about 32% is below by 500meters. Austria is located on latitude 46 and 49 degree to the North and longitude 9 and 10degree to the East.
Local Bavarian dialects of the German is spoken by most of the populations as their native dialect while Austrian German spoken or written in its standard form is the official language of the country. Other locally used official languages are Slovene, Burgenland, Hungarian and Croatian.
With the total population of 8,783,198, Austria is ranked number 94th country in the world and Vienna the country's capital is raked number one city in Austria with the population of 1,812,605 and also the largest city in the country.

Roman Catholicism is mostly practice by 8.8% of the population, 7% practice Islam, 6% **Eastern Orthordox, 3.4% Protestantian, 0.2% Buddhism, 0.1% Judaism and 24% don't practice any of the stated religion.
The Wiener Schnitzel, Knodel, Sachertorte and Schweinsbraten are te native dishes of the Austrian.
