Last week, met up with former boss whom I've not met for a while. The plan was meet at Bugis+ but changed to the fountain at Bugis Junction at the last minute.

No fancy setup inside there but it's comfortable enough as we were having a late lunch when most people are already gone.

里面的装饰算普普通通可是因为迟来吃午餐没那么多人也算够舒服。

I came after a ball game and needed a drink but their barley drink only come in cold version. I was hoping for a hot or warm one.

我打完球来这可需要杯水可是他们的薏米水只有冷的。本想喝杯热的或温的。

My former boss had the pig liver soup, I was having the lean mean soup and we shared the bean sprout.

以前的老板要了猪肝汤而我就要瘦肉汤。豆芽两人享用。

I love the lean meat soup. Not much fat compared to some other place and I don't have to mess around with the bones. Soup is peppery enough.

挺喜欢这瘦肉汤。比起有些地方没那麽多脂肪。又不用啃骨头。汤里够胡椒。

Their wall decorations are mostly of celebrities having patronized them. Mostly Chinese actors and singers from Asia. Do you recognized any?

墙上的装饰大多是以前来吃过的名人。大多是华裔演员或歌手。你认得几位？

My former boss pick up the bill and it cost more than $30 but it's good place to sit down and meet over local food only when it is off peak hours. I don't believe the staff serving us was named ipad3. :-)

前上司付钱时，我看到花费要多过$30但能跟好久不见的人在一起喝完汤吃饭也是个好地方但最后是非繁忙时间去。 我就不相信服务员名字叫 ipad3。 :-)
