PANCIT BIHON (STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE)

The other day, May 2, was my birthday. It was just a simple day, we didn't plan for something big. I actually made a post about it, here is the link if you want to check it out.

We just prepared a simple dish, it's called
PANCIT BIHON.

Pancit Bihon or Pancit Guisado is a Filipino noodle dish. Pancit Bihon uses “Bihon” or rice sticks mixed with pork, chicken, and vegetables. This dish is always served during Fiesta, birthday parties, and other special occasions. Filipinos also loved to eat it for breakfast or meryenda.

And now I am going to show you guys on how we cooked this Pancit Bihon.

RECIPE:

Pancit Bihon (noodles)
Onion and Garlic (chopped)
Chicken (strips)
Squid Balls and Kikiam (chopped)
Carrots and Cabbage
Water
Soy Sauce
Pepper

PROCEDURE:

  1. Boil the chicken.

  2. Let the noodles soak in to the water until it became soft.

  3. Sauté onion and garlic.

  4. Then add the squid balls and kikiam. Let it fry until it cooked.

  5. Then add the vegetables; cabbage and carrots. Also add pepper. Let it cook until the vegetables are soft.

  6. Add the chicken. Then add water and soy sauce. Let it boil for a few minutes.

  7. Then add the noodles.

  9. Add soy sauce and pepper to taste.

And that's it! Our pancit bihon is done.
