🇮🇩Bali Food Guide | Ubud Edition

in #food2 months ago

📍Sun Sun Warung (p1) 🌟🌟🌟🌟
A popular Indonesian restaurant near Ubud Palace. The crispy duck rice is superb, with juicy meat inside and a hint of sweetness. The fried rice is also good, especially when paired with the spicy sauce on the table, it's an instant stunner. However, the blue rice resembling the Indonesian Nine-Tiered Tower is not recommended; it looks great for photos but tastes disappointing. 💰: Average 50 RMB per person

📍Warung Kayana (p2-p3) 🌟🌟🌟🌟
If you're craving Bali pork chops and fried chicken, this is the place to be! The pork chops are slightly sweet but tender, and the fried chicken is super crispy. My friend and I even ordered an extra serving! 💰: 4 dishes plus two glasses of juice for less than 50 RMB per person

📍Sinamon (p4) 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Sinamon offers delicious Balinese cinnamon rolls that even someone like me, who isn't a fan of cinnamon, finds enjoyable. If you're not having them with coffee, I recommend trying the original flavor as the cream on top is overly sweet.

📍Warung Siam (p5) 🌟🌟🌟
Many bloggers praise this Thai restaurant, but my friend and I found it to be just average. The rice was loose, and overall, the dishes were on the spicier side. 💰: Average 50 RMB per person

📍Twist Ubud (p6) ❌
A once-popular spot in Bali that turned out to be disappointing. The caramel pork was overly sweet and hard to swallow, while the tuna was dry and the sesame coating too thick. The restaurant's ambiance was dim, and there were flies buzzing around, so I genuinely don't recommend it. 💰: Average 70 RMB per person
