I don't think kimchi is a spicy food. I used to eat kimchi everyday when I lived in Korean. Actually, I can't eat spicy food but up to now I can eat kimchi very well, not spicy. Although it is made form a lot of chili, it isn't spicy. But I like kimchi so much.
