E-democracy Software & Direct Democracy World Wide!

In today's day and age, we are existing in the middle of a technological revolution! Many argue that direct democracy is too complicated to implement a larger scales. We now have the ability to conduct this process with these new technologies better than ever before. With software such as Liquid Feedback and new developments in block-chain voting with Follow My Vote, there are very real solutions that can be implemented to bring more through direct democracy on global scales.

Liquid feedback is an open source technology that allows users to conduct the process of liquid democracy. Liquid democracy (also known as delegative democracy) allows users to utilize direct democracy privileges while being able to delegate their individual votes to proxy delegates. These proxy delegates are able to vote in the stand of the member who delegated them their vote. These proxies are fellow votes on the same platform.

Follow My Vote is unique in the way that it allows the direct democracy process to be conducted using an encryption method called block-chain. Block-chain is where each individual with the software becomes an individual server, making it impossible for the software to be attacked at a central location. Block chaining has been said to be a solution for voter fraud and voting corruption. This very well could be a tangible answer that leads us away from our corruptible current ballot voting process in the United States.
