A fearsome critter popular in the Pacific Northwest of America, the Splintercat is a beast with a very distinct appearance, and even more distinct capabilities. Various reports of this mythological creature depict the Splintercat as having a powerful but chunky body, and a rounded, spherical head. Using the spherical orb of it’s head, the Splintercat smashes and splinters tree trunks in its constant pursuit of honey and racoons, which make up the bulk of the creature’s diet.

The sound that the Splintercat makes smashing open tree trunks is akin to the sound of thunder, and the movement of this large cat is so quick that his destruction of trees makes flashes of light that resemble lightning.

Because of the Splintercat’s constant banging of its head, the beast is said to have a constant headache, making him a grumpy and sometimes lethal creature to encounter.
