"Take The Last Train" Songwriting Challenge #21 by Morgan Washam

Again, I really want to thank those of you that have been checking out this songwriting blog over the past months. The feedback and response have been wonderful. I really appreciate all of you and your wonderful comments.

Today's song is called " Take the Last Train" . It is a power ballad that lyrically deals with issues around conforming to society. The person that the song is about ceases to care about the pulls and pushes of society. I leave it up to the listener to determine what they think about the conclusion. It's not meant to be a happy song. Possibly a song about realization, epiphany or discovery and transcendence.
