Hi!

My name is Bob and I have suffered from the cold and flu a lot in my life and just got sick and tired (no pun intended) from just using OTC medications to treat just the symptoms and heard that Tamiflu may not be as effective as once thought. Some medical professions say just 10% but it does help in keeping it from progressing to something worse.

So, if you are 50 years or older, very young, or have a weakened immune system, talk to your doctor about getting a flu shot. Many people recently died this season 2017-2018 due to the massive flu outbreak that has hit this country so any thing that will help is good.

Bob's homeopathic way to kick the cold to the curb and give your immune system a boost.##

Disclaimer- I'm not a doctor so if you are having a hard time breathing or, have high fever over 100 and won't go down, don't be stupid, go to the Emergency Room! Please speak with your doctor first before beginning any of these remedies. I am not responsible should something go wrong. Most likely nothing won't unless you have a bad reaction or allergy to one of the ingredients. Check with your doctor 1st.

  1. Take 1 teaspoon of Crushed Garlic 3x a day. IMPORTANT! Work up to 3 slowly and do not do it on an empty stomach!!!! There is a possibility of gauging if you are not used to it. Work up to having 3 teaspoons per day even if you have to start off with a Pinch. Make sure it's fresh. Allicin in the garlic is most powerful as soon as it's crushed.
  2. Drink 8oz of water with 1 tbs of apple cider vinegar in the morning after breakfast.
  3. Take 1 Oil of Oregano pill 3 times a day until symptoms dissipate then 2 x a day for at least 15 days afterward.
  4. Use nasal irrigation at least once a day to gently wash the sinus passages clean. Use as directed
  5. Take warm showers with plenty of steam. Ahhhh.
  6. Take a multi vitamin once a day plus an extra vitamin c 1000 mg
  7. Drink hot ginger root tea with lemon and honey throughout the day and yes... MATZO BALL SOUP!!!
  8. Take OTC meds if necessary for runny nose and coughing and sneezing.
  9. Stay hydrated! Colds can zap you quickly so 12 8oz of filtered water per day.
  10. rest!!! Get at least 8 hours of sleep. Keep reading....

Garlic
Garlic Can Boost Immune Function.

Garlic contains compounds that help the immune system fight germs.

Whole garlic contains a compound called alliin. When garlic is crushed or chewed, this compound turns into allicin, the main active ingredient in garlic. Allicin contains sulfur, which gives garlic its distinctive smell and taste.

However, allicin is unstable, so it quickly converts to other sulphur-containing compounds thought to give garlic its medicinal properties.

These compounds have been shown to boost the disease-fighting response of some types of white blood cells in the body when they encounter viruses, such as the viruses that cause the common cold or flu. Yea! More Gaaarlic! :) Want your white blood cells to turn into virus killing torpedoes? Eat Garlic!

Apple Cider Vinegar

According to Prevention.com, drinking a tablespoon or two of ACV at the first sign of a cold or the flu will help prevent the full on bout the cold or flu. Whaaa?

The main reason this works is that apple cider vinegar, as acidic as it tastes, actually helps to alkalize your body (most of us are more acidic). A body that’s more alkaline may be more effective at fighting off viruses that cause colds and the flu. So adding in a some vinegar can help. Think of it this way... This helps balance your Ph level in your body to the point where it creates a nasty environment for viruses to live and replicate.

If drinking apple cider vinegar straight up is too much for you (especially if your stomach is upset from the cold or flu) dilute it with some warm water, or hot tea, or some maple syrup. You can also add it to salad dressings.

If you waited too long and are in the middle of a war with a cold or the flu, keep drinking the vinegar anyway. It’ll help your body fight off the germs, give you some energy, and help improve your digestion and will not kill the good bacteria in your gut which actually helps your immune system.

When I take it, it acts and an immediate expectorant so have a tissue at the ready just in case.

The brand I recommend is Braggs is the best because it has the Mother which is excellent for fighting the yuck. In other words it's not filtered and retains the good nutrients your body needs.

IMPORTANT >>> Oil Of Oregano

Benefits of Oregano Oil for Cold & Flu

During the cold and flu season or if you have it already, you should begin using oregano oil ASAP, as it contains various compounds that will strengthen the immune system.

One of the most potent compound is Carvacrol.
It also comes with the highest concentration in this oil. Carvacrol boats numerous antimicrobial properties & this active ingredient is the main reason why this oil is so famed for eliminating symptoms of cold and flu. In fact, carvacrol is known to bust through the outer cell walls of bacteria and viruses, allowing them to be zapped by the body’s immune system.

Think of it like C4 explosive to a brick wall and your white blood cells are the SWAT team coming in for the takedown.

Vitamin C is globally known as an immune system-booster, vitamin C is found in moderate quantities in oregano oil, where it can stimulate the production of white blood cells to counter the spread of a cold virus or bacterial infection. Vitamin C also soothes inflammation and functions as an antioxidant to relieve strain on the immune system. Finally, it is involved in collagen synthesis, which is needed to heal the tissues following an extended period with the cold or flu.

Honey For Coughs from the Mayo Clinic Whaaa?

"Drinking tea or warm lemon water mixed with honey is a time-honored way to soothe a sore throat. But honey alone may be an effective cough suppressant, too.

In one study, children age 2 and older with upper respiratory tract infections were given up to 2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) of honey at bedtime. The honey seemed to reduce nighttime coughing and improve sleep.

In fact, in the study, honey appeared to be as effective as a common cough suppressant ingredient, dextromethorphan, in typical over-the-counter doses. Since honey is low-cost and widely available, it might be worth a try.

However, due to the risk of infant botulism, a rare but serious form of food poisoning, never give honey to a child younger than age 1.

And remember: Coughing isn't all bad. It helps clear mucus from your airway. If you or your child is otherwise healthy, there's usually no reason to suppress a cough." -Dr. J Steckleberg, MD

Nasal Irrigators

Just look them up at http://grossan.com/ Nasal Irrigator machines like the one pictured above or at Grossan.com are very good at washing out contaminants, pollutants and germs from the nasal cavities. Want a person has a cold some of these nasal cavities can be very sensitive and swollen making it hard to breathe through the nose. Irrigation not only washes the nasal area out but also thins out any mucus and blot clots, and cleans infections. This helps in the healing process of your nose.

##Please speak with your doctor 1st before beginning any of these remedies.##

Thanks and stay healthy!
