The Petals Contests #flowers || Marigold
My entry to the Petals contest #flowers.
The beautiful marigold originate from South America being brought to the Europe by the Spanish explorers. Apart from its exquisite look, marigold is a medicinal plant. Thanks to the lutein, marigold can be used in treatment of age-related macular degeneration.
The flowers are edible, giving a drop of color to salads.
